发迹于英国伦敦的BLUE由邓肯Duncan James、安东尼Antony Costa、黎Lee Ryan和西蒙Simon Webbe4人所组成，最先是由唐肯和安东尼提议要筹组一个和声团体，经过一番寻觅，找到了歌技出众的黎和好友赛门，Blue就这样诞生！ 为什么取名叫BLUE，其实理由很简单：「BLUE团员每个人都拥有一副蓝调(BLUE)好嗓!」4人，很快就受到Virgin集团旗下Innocent音乐厂牌赏识，并由当初成功打造坏小子罗比威廉斯原属团体TAKE THAT（接招合唱团）的原班制作班底崭新策划，全力栽培他们成为英国新世纪第一R&B偶像实力双重合一男声团体。
